Kaipara Harbour

Kaipara Harbour is the largest enclosed harbour in New Zealand, but only the northern part lies within Northland’s regional boundaries. This area includes estuaries formed by the Wairoa, Arapāoa, Ōtamatea and Ōruawharo rivers.
