Helen Hitchings Gallery

From 1949 the Helen Hitchings Gallery in Wellington sold works of art by contemporary New Zealand artists such as Colin McCahon and Toss Wollaston, and ceramics, textiles and modernist furniture for the discerning homeowner. This photograph shows two chairs and a table designed by leading modernist architect Ernst Plischke.
