Christmas dinner, Aro Valley community centre, 2011

Free Christmas dinners enable people who would otherwise go without to have a filling and nutritious meal on this important holiday, and allow those who live alone to celebrate Christmas with others. This is Christmas dinner at the Aro Valley community centre in Wellington in 2011. Grocery store owner Naginbhai Neil Patel donated soft drink for the feast, commenting that people needed help and it was nice not to be alone at Christmas.
