Casting a special vote, 2008 (2nd of 2)

Casting a special vote, 2008

A voter slips a special vote ballot paper into one of a row of ballot boxes in a polling station. Special votes include those, like this one, which are cast outside the electorate in which the voter is enrolled. Cardboard voting booths, which help maintain the secrecy of the ballot, can be seen at right.
