Organised crime seizure

Organised crime seizure

Detective Inspector Steve Wood looks over some of the drugs and firearms, and a money-counting machine, seized during a 2010 investigation into an organised-crime ring in Auckland. The criminals involved had imported drugs and laundered money. The Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009 allowed police to seize money and assets acquired through criminal activities.
