Montgomery mooring system

Forty tonnes of pressure is applied to the hull of a ship by Peter Montgomery’s MoorMaster vacuum mooring system. This is the inter-island ferry Aratere at Picton, where the MoorMaster secures and releases the ship in 10 seconds.
