Business opportunities

In addition to lobbying government, the Business Roundtable operated as a ‘think tank’. It researched and published on issues it was concerned with, ran a lecture series, and arranged visits from overseas experts and commentators. This is the 2009 Sir Ronald Trotter lecture, an annual event commemorating the work of one of the Business Roundtable founders. It was delivered by Stephen Jennings, a New Zealander who owned and ran Moscow-based global investment bank Renaissance Capital.
