Coastal scenery

The coast road between Fox River and Punakaiki has some of the most spectacular coastal scenery on the West Coast. This view, from the roadside outlook over Woodpecker Bay, must be similar to what Heaphy and Brunner saw when they explored the coastline in the mid-19th century.
