Norton (3rd of 6)

Norton

This early Norton single-piston racing motorbike is a chain-driven model. The rider wears a leather hat with chinstrap and goggles. The puttees stop his trouser cuffs from snagging on the bike and protect his pants from mud. The name of the rider and event are unknown but the photograph was taken in the early 1930s, possibly in Blenheim.
