Black Minorca cockerel (3rd of 5)

Black Minorca cockerel

Also called the Red-faced Black Spanish chicken, this breed is medium sized and was once popular for its large white eggs. These chickens are now mainly kept to exhibit. They have a long, angular, slow-growing body and so are not popular for meat.
