New Zealand glaciers

Each glacier in the New Zealand Glacier Inventory is plotted here as a red dot. Most are found in the central (and highest) part of the Southern Alps. Apart from several small glaciers near the crest of Mt Ruapehu, glaciers are confined to the South Island.
