Nappy Valley

Nappies and clothing flap on the washing line behind Mere and her daughter Siulolovao. This 1978 screenprint by the New Zealand artist Robin White was used as a poster for the 1979 United Women’s Convention and records the living conditions for many ordinary mothers and children in that period.
