A rather nervous calf receives an eartag from this agriculture modern apprentice, with the help of her supervisor. In 2008 more than 400 people trained as modern apprentices in arable, cattle, dairy, deer, sheep, pig and poultry farming. To qualify for selection, they needed to be already working in the farming industry and to be aged between 16 and 21.
