Roadside Stories: Wellington's 'Cake Tin' (2nd of 3)

Wellington's traditional rugby ground was Athletic Park, a windswept, uncomfortable venue in south Wellington. In the 1990s there was a move to replace it and eventually a new stadium was opened in Thorndon on railways land, within walking distance of the city. Listen to these stories about some famous sporting contests both at Athletic Park and also at the 'Cake Tin' (Westpac Stadium).

Roadside Stories is a series of audio guides to places around New Zealand.
