Fishermen caught with sealskins (2nd of 2)

Fishermen caught with sealskins

After open seasons in 1914 and 1915, seal hunting was once more restricted for periods of three years at a time. However in 1938 two Bluff fishermen were caught with sealskins, as this headline announces. There was a final open season in 1946 before sealing was permanently banned.
