Ka urutau ngā kaiwhakatipu kūmara i ā rātou pūnaha whakatipu hei manaaki i ngā kai o te hauhake. E whakaatu ana ngā hoahoa nei i ngā momo rua kūmara ka kitea ki Aotearoa. (1) Ka karia ki te pīnakitanga; (2) ka keria te rua e rite ana te āhua ki te pere; (3) me te (4) ka keria he awaawa hei whakatahe i te wai. Mēnā he nui (pērā i (4) me (5)), ka poua ētahi poutoko ki roto me tētahi tuanui ki runga. I ētahi wā he rua paku noa iho ka karia ki runga papatahi, ki roto whare rānei, ki roto rua nui ake rānei.
