Treaty claims settled, 2011

This map shows areas where tribal Treaty of Waitangi settlements had been completed by August 2011. The resources received from these settlements have helped to finance ongoing tribal investment. They have been vital in re-establishing iwi (tribal) organisations as a focal point of iwi economic development.
