John Scott and Ngamatea

Architect John Scott was of both Pākehā and Māori descent, and he drew on both cultures in his approach to architecture. In this 1984 television documentary Scott explains how the landscape inspired his design for the homestead Ngamatea in the Hawke's Bay high country.
