Economic down-turn late 2008

The effect of overseas events on the New Zealand economy in general, and the income of dairy-farmers in particular, is made clear from this news clip in November 2008.  The international economic crisis was just hitting Europe and the United States at that time, and the immediate effect was a lower price for milk-fat in New Zealand.
