Story: Research institutions

Auckland housing research

Social policy research is carried out in a wide range of government and non-government organisations. In 2012 the Salvation Army produced this report on the state of Auckland housing, which argued that there was an undersupply of affordable housing. In the sound file from November 2013 the report's author, Alan Johnson, talks to Radio New Zealand's Kathryn Ryan about the future housing needs of baby boomers.
