Collapsed cliff

This fallen cliff at Ōmokoroa Point, in the western Bay of Plenty, illustrates the dangers of building too close to cliff edges, especially where the underlying geology is unstable mudstone. Luckily the seaward side of the road that collapsed had no houses on it.
