Display at MTG Hawke's Bay

Visitors enjoy the exhibition about the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake at MTG (Museum, Theatre, Gallery) Hawke's Bay in Napier. The expanded and refashioned MTG re-opened in 2014 with displays that focused on distinctive regional stories, such as the earthquake, and drew on the strengths of the institution's collections. These included ceramics, textile designs, furniture and other decorative crafts.
