Bird rescue

Bird rescue

Lyn Macdonald looked after an injured little blue penguin at her home in Green Bay, Auckland, in 2009. She was employed by the New Zealand Bird Rescue Charitable Trust as a wildlife rehabilitator. Formed in 1984, the trust supports rescue centres around New Zealand, which care for injured and sick native, non-native and pet birds, and re-home them where appropriate.
