Cricinfo app on an iPad

A nervous cricket fanatic explores the Cricinfo app on his iPad as he follows the score of the second one-day international between New Zealand and South Africa on 23 January 2013. The app provided immediate text ball-by-ball commentary. In the 2010s radio, television and digital formats were providing sports followers with instant news. This forced newspaper reporters to become more reflective and less descriptive.  For the record, New Zealand defeated South Africa by 27 runs to win the series.
