A group of fans dressed as gingerbread men pose on their way to the Wellington rugby sevens at Westpac Stadium on 5 February 2011. Rugby sevens became a major annual event in Wellington during the 2000s – as much for the spectacular costumes of the fans as for the quality of the rugby.
