Scott Dixon, 2008

Aucklander Scott Dixon, one of New Zealand's most successful racing drivers, began his career in karts. He is seen at the wheel of one in 2008, during a promotion for child cancer research. In that year Dixon won the Indianapolis 500, and the IndyCar Series championship for the second time. By the end of the 2020 season Dixon had won six IndyCar titles and 50 races, the third highest total of all time.
