South Island Stockcar Championships, 2011

Ash Kelly of Nelson (left) tangles with local driver Gill Simpson during the 2011 South Island Stockcar Championships in Greymouth. Kelly finished sixth on the points table and the winner was another Greymouth driver, Cleve Kokshoorn. Stock cars are heavily reinforced to cope with a driving technique based on collisions and other full-contact tactics.
