Closing out day, Foxton Golf Club, 1949

Foxton Golf Club, in the Horowhenua district north of Wellington, was formed by returned servicemen in 1949. This photo shows the social gathering on closing out day, the final day of the first year's playing season. Note the golf clubs leaning against the building.
