Enid Tapsell

Energetic and determined, Enid Tapsell became a part of the Māori world of her husband Kouma Tapsell and fought for greater official recognition of the needs and interests of the Maketū and later Rotorua communities. At the time this photograph was taken, she had recently been elected to the Rotorua City Council.
