Playing darts at a factory, 1947

Playing darts at a factory, 1947

Workers play darts during a break at the Mason and Porter Industries (Masport) factory, Panmure, Auckland, in 1947. The board is pinned to a stack of boxes containing lawnmower parts. Part of the appeal of darts has been that the equipment involved is inexpensive and portable. All that is required to play is at least three darts, a board and a place to hang it.
