Multi-ethnic festival in Auckland

Multi-ethnic festival in Auckland

New Zealand’s population became much more diverse after the 1980s. Ethnic festivals are now commonplace in towns and cities. Some are festivals of individual ethnic groups (Indian New Zealanders now, for example, commonly celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, in public) while others bring together representatives of a range of cultures, like this Auckland event.
