In 2007 the University of Auckland was New Zealand’s leading research institution and the only one to be part of Universitas 21, a consortium of top Pacific Rim universities. This is the new home of the university's business school, nearing completion. The school aims to be one of the Asia–Pacific region’s foremost business schools.
