Muaūpoko Waitangi Day celebrations

Young people listen to instructions before participating in an event at the Muaūpoko Waitangi Day celebrations in 2004. Every year the tribe marks Waitangi Day by holding kapa haka (Māori performing arts) and sports competitions. This provides an opportunity for Muaūpoko people to gather and express their tribal identity.
