Christchurch Casino

Christchurch Casino

Tourism is important for Canterbury, and in 2010 it accounted for one in 12 of all jobs in Christchurch. One attraction is the casino in Victoria Street, designed by the architects Warren and Mahoney, which opened in 1994. It operates 24 hours a day over the weekend, and targets Asian visitors in its publicity.
