Student radio station 95bFM

This 2003 advertising postcard for 95bFM shows Auckland student radio personalities including Mikey Havoc (left with wine glass), Jeremy 'Newsboy' Wells (wearing a turban) and Hugh Sundae (slumped in a chair). Student radio stations such as bFM in Auckland provided the launching pad for the careers of many New Zealand entertainers, such as Havoc and Wells. In the late 1970s and the 1980s student radio was also one of the few sites where New Zealand musicians could get air time.
