12th New Zealand Grand Prix, 1965

This is the cover of the official programme for the 12th New Zealand International Grand Prix, held in 1965. This was the third year the 150-mile (241.4-kilometre) race had been held at a new purpose-built circuit at Pukekohe. The 1965 event was dominated by Brabham cars, which took the top three places. Jim Palmer of New Zealand came third, behind Britain’s Graham Hill and Australia’s Frank Gardner.
