Satirising Federated Farmers

Satirising Federated Farmers

Murray Webb’s caricature of Charlie Pederson, president of Federated Farmers of New Zealand, was published on 1 August 2006. Pederson had claimed that concerns about environmental issues impeded farm development, endangering the growth of the New Zealand economy. Others in the community took a different view on the impact of uncontrolled development on the environment and economy.
