Thomas Hunter, 1949

Professor Thomas Alexander 'Tommy' Hunter served in a range of teaching and administrative roles at Victoria University College and the University of New Zealand, from 1904 until his retirement in 1951. Hunter set up the first psychological laboratory in Australasia. He was instrumental in encouraging teaching and research in psychology and other social sciences.
