Hindu Heritage Centre, Auckland, 2006

In a Graha Pravesh Pooja (traditional house-warming ceremony), Harbans Singh blesses the new Hindu Heritage Centre building in Māngere East, Auckland, in August 2006. The centre was run by the Hindu Heritage Charitable Trust. Its chair, Shri Vinod Kumar, said the trust intended to open a school and later to incorporate a cultural academy, sports complex, special facilities for elders, women and youth, and a spiritual awakening centre offering meditation and yoga classes.
