Backyard garden

Backyard garden

Photographer Albert P. Godber stands with his wife and daughter in the backyard of their home in Baker street, Caversham, Dunedin, in 1926. Although not all New Zealanders could live the rural dream by having a house and farm in the country, others could approximate it with a glasshouse and vegetable garden in the suburbs.
