Kōrero: Choral music and choirs

Samoan church choir

After the Second World War Pacific Island immigrant communities established church choirs. In 1999 television programme Tagata pasifika made a Christmas special featuring some of these choirs, including the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa in Christchurch.
