Cooking gakho

Cooking gakho

Photographed in Naenae, Wellington, Vietnamese refugees Tai (left) and Tam Nguyen, Phi Hoang Pham and Nhan Ngoc Tran prepare gakho, which is made from chicken, soy sauce, garlic, peppercorns and onions. It was probably the first time this dish was ever cooked in the suburb of Naenae.
