Preparing scallops and pāua

Collecting and diving for shellfish is a popular occupation in coastal areas during the summer months. In the top photograph John Kosar slices pāua, and in the bottom picture (left to right) Russell Brock, John Kosar and Dan Hutton prepare scallops for a summer feast at Tairua on the Coromandel Peninsula.
