Counter-terrorist exercise

This is a counter-terrorist training exercise in the Hauraki Gulf on 11 August 2011. The joint exercise involved the police Special Tactics Group (STG) and the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). RNZAF Iroquois helicopters delivered STG members by rope to the Sealink ferry. The STG is the police unit responsible for counter-terrorist operations.
