Mt Taranaki

Mt Taranaki

Mt Taranaki is very important to the identity of all the tribes of the Taranaki region. Here it is seen from Turuturumōkai , a significant place for the Ngāti Ruanui tribe. Most tribes identify with a prominent mountain in their vicinity.
