Lawyer Geoff Harley and staff members arrive at the Wellington High Court in September 2010, at the start of a court case to consider misconduct charges against Supreme Court judge Justice Bill Wilson. Wilson was accused of failing to disclose that he owed a substantial sum of money to QC Alan Galbraith when he heard an appeal involving Galbraith. Harley and other lawyers for Wilson were attempting to stop judicial conduct commissioner Sir David Gascoigne referring the matter to a judicial conduct panel. The panel was established, but Wilson resigned before it assembled.
