In the early 21st century families increasingly meet via the internet. This pre-schooler talks to family in New Zealand, assisted by her mother. The laptop is located on the kitchen bench. The little girl was initially a little shy, but then became very confident, singing lyrics from Mamma mia with children on the other side of the world. The opportunity to see as well as hear family members in other locations was increasingly taken for granted by many children growing up with electronic communication.
