Many mothers (and some fathers) of babies and young children meet on a regular basis to socialise and swap stories. Some gather informally in homes, while others belong to groups organised by parenting organisations and meet in public buildings. This poster advertises a Thames–Hauraki Parents Centre coffee morning at the Grahamstown Community Centre in 2000.
