Incubating success

Incubating success

Incubators were the latest trend in industrial development in the late 1990s and 2000s. This is Dunedin’s fashion incubator and its manager, Sharlene Camp, in 2004. The Dunedin initiative was set up in 2001 by the Dunedin City Council (local government), New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and Work and Income New Zealand (central government), and the Dunedin community. It provided young designers with advice, mentoring, facilities and industry links.
