Zespri kiwifruit

After failing to trademark the name ‘kiwifuit’, New Zealand fruit growers developed the trademark Zespri to ensure their product had a unique place on the world market. Here Glen Arrowsmith, sustainability manager for Zespri, sits in a Mt Maunganui cool store surrounded by trays of kiwifruit headed offshore.
